Wall Color With Cherry Floor

Submission

After nearly three days spent in the darkness and quiet of the palace of Anubis, the morning sun's hurting my eyes and made him almost blind.
Baba's men had come to take numerous, with ropes and chains, and dragged him without much regard to the courtyard. Seth had not even attempted to break free. Lacked even the strength to stand up. He was for many years, he was a child, he did not feel so helpless ...
And of course the thugs if they were aware of Baba, the damned, and had not lost time to take advantage. "Come on, culattone" had shouted one of them, pushing against something solid
Seth lost his balance and fell forward, holding out his arms to cushion the fall. The right arm hurt caused him a pang of sickening pain on impact, leaving him breathless.
Gasping, he was clinging blindly to a rough wooden floor. He could feel the characteristic smell of livestock and felt the breath sound of a pair of oxen.
A cart, probably ...
Baba's henchmen pulled him back on his feet and pushed him on the weight of the cart, forcing him to kneel on the floor. Two of them held him still for his arms to prevent him from moving and to defend themselves. The blood had begun to leak slowly from the wound in his right arm, probably the points were loose or torn in the fall.
He heard a clang of chains nearby grunts of effort and of the guards who were struggling with something heavy and unwieldy, heard them approaching and then felt a great weight on his shoulders.
sounded a metallic click as a lock or a lock and, suddenly, the guards let him go, but even so, however hard he tried, his arms were still immobilized.
It took him a few moments to realize the situation: his neck and wrists imprisoned in a kind of yoke of wood and metal. Yet heard a clang of chains and felt tense. He could not move in any way. The chains were attached to the yoke and bolted to the floor of the wagon. He had been chained like an animal!
Seth tried to free himself, finding the strength to do so in a last reserve of pride. As the strains were strong, there was definitely a weak point, there had to be ... She would rather be killed on the spot, rather than being dragged through the streets in chains. It took until the last drop of his remaining forces in a last desperate effort.
rings were stretched and the wood creaked, but the chains and the yoke is not broken.
Without more energy, let go, panting and defeated. Only the tension of the chain prevented it from collapsing completely.
Someone laughed, a laugh coarse and unpleasant. Shaken well as can be, fag ... So you do not need anything. "Said a nasal voice. Seth recognized it instantly: it was one of Baba, the head of Horus guards. "I took advantage of the time that Prince Anubis lost me to let you make custom ..."
A strong smell of wet dog assaulted the nostrils of Seth, who suddenly found himself in the shade. Baba had to be in front of him and very close, too. "I must say you are very well ... - Continued the captain of the guard, laughing - If the sire Geb there had helped with the spells, I do not think we would have achieved something so satisfying. There you put your effort, you know? And we said, 'I beg you, tie it well, the bastard .'..." concluded in a tone of smug.
"Father ... Why not? "Thought Seth. Ever since I could remember, Geb had never missed an opportunity to show him all their contempt and make him feel less of a shit and Seth could never get used to, but did not react. She had no intention of giving Baba the satisfaction of having hit a weak point. However Baba seemed
have not finished tormenting him. "The cat got your tongue, pansy? Where has your arrogance now? "He asked slyly. Seth was imposed not to react, although he would gladly split the face of the head of the guards punched, if he could.
The light hit his face again to Seth, making his eyes water even through closed eyelids; Baba must have moved.
"See guys? - Baba laughed, turning to his henchmen - has become as gentle as a lamb ... Just as I said, Castrale enough, as we do with dogs. "Baba's men broke into a collective laugh.
Seth felt his blood boil. That's a coward captain of the guard he had ever turned away because he had a fucking afraid of him and now he was doing good in the eyes of the soldiers he knew had nothing to fear. Cursed, cursed all!
The light changed again and Seth felt a blast. "Bravo a fruit ..." Baba grinned, holding out a hand to give him a slap on the wrist.
Seth felt the hand of the man who approached and decided that he would not be humiliated further, at any cost.
swung around and bit his hand hard, sinking his teeth into the flesh until you hear the metallic taste of blood. Baba let out a cry of pain and tried to portray his hand, But Seth does not let go. The proved with facts that had become docile ...
"Damn queer! "Exclaimed Baba - Do not stand there stiff, stupid! - Shouted to his men with a note of panic in the voice - Give a hand to take off! "The guards did not pray, it was a situation congenial to them, take it in so many against one. They began pulling and pushing, but Seth does not let go until someone's dealt a hand on the cheek with enough force to stun him, making him wear out again against the chains.
"I'll suffer for it, fag!" Threatened Baba, holding his hand close to his chest wound. The smell blood hung in the air. Seth laughed softly. "You are scared even to think to hit me, if I were not in chains, nothing. Enjoy your moment, you agree that when I am free and run away do not stop ... "he said in a hoarse whisper, sporting a blood-stained smile like a true psychopath.
Baba and his fell silent and the silence lasted for a long time. Seth could not see the expression of the captain of the guard, but could easily imagine and smell the acrid smell of his fear. "What, you have nothing witty to say, captain of the guard?" Seth chuckled.
Baba did not answer, but something whispered in her ear and then Seth fell on his ribs, causing a burning pain. Baba grunted and snapped the whip again, and Seth was hit by a hail of blows rabid. The burning of each new burst mingled with the previous ones, making him feel as if all his skin was going to fire now and the blood began to flow from some of the lacerations. He could not even defend themselves and curl up to protect themselves. He was unarmed.
The captain of the guard was panting with the effort of flogging in the blood, but did not seem to have lost the initial impetus. "You do not scare me, fag." Baba said, lying between a stroke and more. "You're a wreck. A ruin. You are pathetic. Needless .- continued, punctuating his claims with new lashes - And you know what that makes me scompisciare more? That you, the great warrior, do not fight anymore, but still you do not do it again and you realize all the boastful ... "
Seth did not know if they were the whips or the implications of the words of Baba who were leaving breathless. He knew he was seriously wounded, but it was not the first time and if it was always escaped without any consequences. Baba was just giving air to his mouth, he said. But were it not so? Had already been three days and, contrary to the usual, his condition had not improved. Anubis also seemed worried. "No, came, I must not think about it."
"What the hell is going on here? "thundered a voice from the palace and Baba interrupted his tirade.
Prince Anubis ... - She said, sweetly - I was just teaching a little 'education at this bastard. "
Seth believed to sense a note of fear in the voice of the captain of the guard. The wrath of his nephew was almost a tangible thing, which radiates in waves from him. Seth was puzzled.
"disgusts me, captain of the guard - said coldly Anubis - Always weak with the strong, but strong with the weak ... Cut it out and disappear from my building, before you drive out there by force. "
Baba hesitated a moment, then burst into laughter. "Prince Anubis ... - Scolded mildly - is not good to take the defenses of the enemies of the Kingdom. People might even think that you are on your side ... And His Majesty is Horus already very happy that you did suffer delay to their plans ... "ended with a grin.
Seth heard someone growl and it took a while to realize that it was his usually impassive nephew. "You are the most despicable of all netjeru, Baba." Hissed Anubis, she went away.
Baba merely laugh and to crack the whip again. Seth could not suppress an exclamation of surprise and pain when the blow caught him on one cheek. Baba laughed again, satisfied.
"Strength ladies! Running! - He ordered his subordinates - We've already wasted enough time with this pathetic fag. You do not want to wait for His Majesty? "The guards and giggled with a crack of the whip and a low bellowing oxen are set in motion.

The journey to the royal palace was not long, but the cart took us forever, or so it seemed to Seth. The sun was high in the sky and tormented him mercilessly, intensifying the burning of the lashes. Although he managed to make the transition that allowed his eyes to bear the light of day, the reflection of white houses was still strong enough to force him to keep his eyes closed, but did not need to see to feel the crowd massed on either side of the road. He felt the buzz and the breath as a large animal crouching nearby. Some people sing praises to the new king, someone insulted him and mocked him. Some, just to be honest, vented their anger by throwing partisan garbage and rotting vegetables in the direction of the cart. Seth had been hit more than once, but that did not care. He was too sick to care. He felt weak as never before, due to the heat and the loss of blood, and at every jolt of the cart on the uneven paving of the road, had to force himself not to cry for the pain to the groin. He felt something warm and viscous soak the bandages and trickled down her legs and knew that the points were probably let go and just the thought of having to sew it back was enough to shiver despite the heat.
Finally, after a time that would not have been able to quantify, the wagon stopped. Baba's men tinker with chains and as soon as the tension was a bit 'loose and there was nothing to support it, Seth collapsed altogether. The guards grabbed him again and dragged him unceremoniously off the wagon, making him kneel down again on the dusty soil of the road. Seth
This time he tried to open my eyes and, pushing the tears and ignoring the burning, looked up at the raised platform which had been erected in front of the royal palace. Seated on a throne decorated with colored enamels and gold, looked really royal Horus, despite the white bandage over his eyes. Seth
hoped that the wounds of his grandson hurt it as much as him, but it was probably a vain hope. Horus seraphic smile in the head with the double crown of Upper and Lower Kingdom and had the satisfied air of a man who had achieved his goal.
Behind the throne, carved on two benches, were Isis and Nebt-Het. His ex-wife was staring at him with a look full of contempt in the dark eyes, stretched on the bench, his hands clutching the arms convulsively, as if he was doing a terrible effort not to fall and kicking.
Isis, however, despite all the help they had given to his son during their long feud, he looked sad, not victorious as expected, and Seth could not help but wonder why.
A voice turned away from his moment of contemplation. Toth, clean and dapper as always, was standing at the right hand of the throne with a voluminous papyrus in his hand. He cleared his throat and began to recite with a loud voice and clear: "Hail to thee, Horus son of Osiris, lord of the Two Lands, thou that with your strong arm ... - '... tricks and unfair, "thought Seth - ... you have brought peace and united the Kingdom after a long feud, you who have protected the weak -" Where? " Seth is asked again - and crushed the proud ... "
Apparently, the talkative vizier had prepared a eulogy infinite, full of praise for the kid ... The sun, now at its zenith, beating strong. Seth would have given anything for a while 'fresh water and a little' shadow. His ears were buzzing and the words of Thoth mingled in an indistinct murmur, already required only stand up straight all his concentration.
At one point, the murmur changed tone and Seth saw that Toth had stopped talking. Horus had turned directly to him, with a tone dripping with condescension and superiority, but Seth could not focus on the words.
"Are you deaf, queer? Reply your sovereign! "Baba shouted in his ear, accompanying the order with a slap in the face. The burning sensation and a surprise somehow roused from his lethargy, and when Horus, with a sigh of exasperation, he repeated his speech, Seth was able to understand it.
"As I was saying, - Horus said, a bit 'annoyed - for the crimes they have committed against the king my father, and against all Kemet, the penalty is death ..."
A murmur spread through the agitated crowd. Apparently, people were ready to see him humiliated, but not to attend an execution.
Horus clapped his hands to attract attention and the crowd quieted. "However, - continued the young King - I do not think it wise to create a further source of conflict between the two parts of my kingdom, so I decided to be lenient. "
Apparently, the directors of the kid knew how to do their job well, he thought Seth, and they knew that, despite everything, he had not been a bad ruler of the High Kingdom and its former subjects and countrymen still liked him.
"Besides," added Horus condescending in tone - it would seem unjust to persecute a disabled ... "This statement made
freeze the blood in the veins of Seth: they all seemed convinced that it would recover. Ra had to fight to defend the only thing that gave meaning to his life, which gave him the feeling to have a place in the overall design of things, and if he could not longer fulfill its task, it would be nothing left of him, if not an empty shell. She would rather die ... Leaning to
Toth, Horus descended from the platform pitch almost certain, and, under the astonished gaze of Baba, went up to Seth.
"You just have to subject yourself to me and I'll let you live in peace in Dashre what's left of your miserable life ..." said Horus with caressing voice, reaching out to brush her cheek. Seth growled softly and Horus drew a flash his hand, his fingers stained with blood.
"Submission ... - Seth whispered giggling - I remember what it was you he preferred to stay in ... "he said, feeling a strange satisfaction in quell'ennesimo, useless gesture of defiance.
The crowd let out a startled noise and the face of Horus is depicted a look of fierce hatred and uncontrollable. The king stepped back and gave an imperious gesture in the direction of the guards. The first football
joined him in the stomach, making it bend in two, out of breath and a prey to spasms. Another blow to the side and joined him in a few moments, Seth found himself in the dust to be a ferocious beating. He could not do anything but curl up on itself to try to protect the wounds and wait for them to stop (fortunately not the chains were stretched), but the shots continued to hail no mercy: he could only hope to lose consciousness for not trying more pain.
He wanted to defend himself, do not be so weak and helpless. If the rest of his immortality was to spend it, in vain hopes and bitter regret at the mercy of others, then it's better to die now, he said, and suddenly as it began, the beating was over.
Seth was panting in the dust for several seconds, gasping for breath, but breathing was painful. Slowly, every movement, he struggled to get up again and looked up at the throne, determined to die with what little dignity he had left.
's face was impassive Horus such as a statue, beneath the bandages.
Seth smiled and took a breath to tell him exactly what he thought of him, but his gaze met that of Isis and the words of defiance were killed in the throat.
The dark eyes of his beloved sister were filled with tears and Seth could feel the sadness and the pain she felt as if they were his.
"I do not want to lose you too ... Please, my brother, you must live for me. "Isis whispered, using his magic as only he could hear her. His voice was so sweet, like a caress, and Seth for a moment forgot the pain and fatigue.
Before the tears and the words of Isis, all his determination to end it all fell apart. Maybe even worth the trouble to go for her just for her ... He could learn to live and be happy without a fight, if only she had been at his side.
beaten back the pride and the tears that had risen in the eyes. What did it matter now?
"All right - he said, feeling light and detached - you won, kid. I, Seth, son of Nut, I recognize you, Horus son of Osiris, as my lawful sovereign, as the legitimate ruler of Kemet. "He said, and despite everything, his voice still sound like the rumble of thunder.
The crowd exploded in a cry of joy.
"It's over, finally ..." you said with a sigh, before succumbing to pain and exhaustion and slipped into the darkness.
